Discovery

This music CD was found at a garage sale in ████ ████████, Massachusetts, where it was picked up by a team member for $█. Upon realizing they didn't have a working CD player, they brought it to our facility to play.

Reported Anomalies

  • Personal Songs: When played, it plays songs from all around the world in various languages that are closely related to the person playing. The list of songs changes depending on who is using the CD. The tracks seem to summarize major events that have happened in that person's life.

When attempting to play a song related to an event that has not yet occurred, the disc automatically resets to track 1.

Investigative Experiments

Songs Test:

When a team member was asked to play the disc and verify if the events had occurred, they confirmed that all the events had indeed happened. Then a track titled "Track ██ - A Knife to the Hospital" played for an event that had not happened yet. The disc automatically reset to track 1. A few days later, the team member confirmed they were in the hospital due to a knife mishap. When they tried to play that track from the CD again, the track played completely, and the disc only moved to the next track afterward.

Copy Test:

When the CD was copied onto any device, only the original album songs were copied, with no anomalies associated with them.

Theories

  • Most of our team believes that it must be some sort of aura the CD detects from humans, playing what is relevant to the individual.
  • One member suggests it may be related to one of the newly released artificial intelligence programs.

Current Status

The disc will be kept safely in our inventory. Any requests to use the disc will be allowed, provided it is returned without damage.
